Good things to bring are:
- Lake stuff: Inflatables, paddleboards, watercraft, lifejackets
- Beach towels (bath towels provided)
- Robes and flip flops are great for the hot tub
- Bikes are great for touring the area or there is an all ages mountain bike park just 2 min away
- Disc golf discs if you want to try the local course
- Winter: Snowshoes, cross country skis, ice fishing gear, toboggans, swimsuits for the hot tub, and winter tires (not all seasons) or chains

Early check in?
We are working hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The time in between guests is critical for us accomplishing this and we therefore are unable to offer early check-in.
Arrival:
When you arrive you will want to go straight at the Y in the driveway and proceed to the guest parking area beside the main building. We will plan to be there to welcome you and give you a tour upon arrival as we find that this significantly improves our guests' experience. Although not imperative, we recommend that the guest who made the reservation be present for the welcome tour. During winter months there is optional winter parking at the entrance to the property.
Room details
-The wifi password is WCGUESTS73. This password and a lot of additional helpful information is located in the welcome guide on the table.
- Lofts are accessed via ladder stairs in two of the queen bedrooms. The lofts are half height and are most often for children sleeping in a separate space above their parent's room, although adults are welcome to use the space also. Each loft contains one double bed and one single bed.
Smoking
Smoking is only allowed on the porch at the front entrance (not the large deck) and butts must be disposed of in the provided container. This is EXTREMELY important.

Exploring the Property
The bark mulch trail to the right of the front door leads to the hot tub, firewood, and garbage/recycle areas. The showerhouse (small building along the path) is only for the use of guests staying in micro cabins.
The host residence is located below the deck if you require assistance.
The campfire pit and yard games can be found in the main yard and the kids play area is located on the far side of the driveway.
There are signs and lighted paths to assist you in navigating the property.

Things to do
There is SO much to do and see here that we often hear from our guests that they wish they had planned more time in the Shuswap.
Onsite we have a firepit, a hot tub, badminton, farkle, spikeball, cornhole, disc golf, and bocce dispersed throughout the property for guests to enjoy.
What to do off site is such a big topic that it gets it's own page!
